Marlon Wayans is an American comedian, actor, film producer and screenwriter. From his last name, it is easy to decipher that he is part of the famous Hollywood “Wayans” family. The actor got his start when he played a small role in the 1988 parody film I’ll Piss You Off and has since appeared in numerous comedies; However, Marlon decided to step away from his usual comedic roles after landing a dramatic role in Darren Aronofsky’s 2000 psychological drama film. Requiem for a Dream opposite Jared Leto and Jennifer Connelly.
Marlon Wayans later appeared in the action movie GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra opposite Channing Tatum, Rachel Nichols, Sienna Miller, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dennis Quaid. Some of the other movies he has appeared in include Haunted House, Haunted House 2, Naked and The Heat.

Marlon Lamont Wayans was born on July 23, 1972 in New York to Elvira Green – a social worker, and Howell Wayans – a supermarket manager. The family members were devout Jehovah’s Witnesses. Marlon and his siblings grew up in New York City housing and he was the youngest of ten siblings.
Marlon attended the infamous Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts which produced so many actors and musicians from Jennifer Aniston to Nicki Minaj. After high school, he attended the historically black college, Howard University. Other notable Howard University alumni include Taraji P.
